Taking part in a Shark Tank–style entrepreneur pitch show on French national TV was an incredible experience, a real turning point in the history of MonLivreSMS. Thanks to this unique showcase, we were able to share our passion for immortalizing your conversations and your most precious memories.

But the greatest reward of all? Your warm encouragement, which breathes life into this project every day. And, the icing on the cake, we’ve been lucky enough to welcome Anthony Bourbon to our adventure. With his energy, experience and vision, he is now part of our team.

A love gift, not a business plan

Joachim’s girlfriend at the time was going through cancer. She was often in hospital, so they saw each other less — but their text messages became their invisible thread, the words you send when you can’t hold hands.

It wasn’t a business idea at first — just a book for her. But as more and more people asked, Joachim took the leap: we live in a beautiful era, yet everything will vanish in the cloud if we don’t preserve what we write to each other.

MonLivreSMS is born

January 2014: the site launches — the first in the world to print your conversations. Keeping a trace of what we write felt obvious; it became a service.

Officially inaugurated in January 2014.
MonLivreSMS means tens of thousands of books printed and shipped around the world every year.
Our books are made in the south of France by our partner, Art et Caractère, a printing company committed to a better world and recognized for its social and environmental approach.
Because we value good initiatives, we entrust our shipments to a center for disabled workers, Réseau Gesat. An exemplary job!
